Entirely electric CNC tube bending machine with 3D visual programming software
E-BEND, a completely electric tube bending machine with 13 programmable axis. Designed and developed to ideally suit applications where batch sizes are small, expensive material is being processed and the bending of highly complex tubular components is required.
The all electric technology of the tube bending machine E-BEND is controlled and programmed by the VGP 3D Visual Programming and Simulation Software:
-
Component to component change-over in just a few seconds;
-
automatic adjustment with no manual intervention of all controlled axis once the program has been selected
-
capable of producing top quality tight radii (with C.L.R. less than 1D on thin wall too)
-
guaranteed greater consistency in accuracy and axis positioning with consequent cost savings
-
significant reduction in power consumption, typically one fifth of that used by conventional benders
-
Silent, clean and safe
E-BEND CNC tube bendeing machine is particularly suitable for automotive and aerospace components.
Tube bending machines are available in two versions:
electric CNC tube bending machine E-BEND76: maximum tube O.D. capacity Ø 76 mm
electric CNC tube bending machine E-BEND90: maximum tube O.D. capacity Ø 90 mm
Apart from the well known electric start of the tube bending machines, other advantages are the higher productivity and repeatability of the tubes and a low energy consume (at least 1/5 less than hydraulic machines). Another advantage is the possibility to control with precision the power given by each NC axis and to measure it according to the material poten and the tube bending conditions. In this way it's possible to measure the right power, in the right spot, at the right moment, with the right speed, something just electric machines can do.
It' s not just technique, but actual functionality expressed in very narrow tube bending radii (R= 0,8D), simultaneous movements of more axis which result in reduced cycle times up to 25% less, or in variable radii with a high range of repeatability. |
